About Chelonoidis donosobarrosi and its habitat in the South of Argentina.

Abstract

The first part of this article explains different opinions regarding the taxonomy and nomenclature within the Chelonoidis chilensis complex, and descriptions how to distinguish between the species. In the second part I provide information about its habitat and the ecology of C. donosobarrosi in the Río Negro province, at the extreme South of its range, including pictures of feeding plants.
